MANNY PANER – “The Original King Beerman”
Playing for the San Miguel Braves in the MICAA, Paner was their dominant torchbearer and his presence would spark doom to his foes. When the Braves entered the PBA as Royal Tru-Orange, he remained with the team and almost won the MVP plum in a Toyota-Crispa ruled season. He then moved out of SMC but his dominance is forever remembered by the SMC community.
