During the olden days, a defensive stopper had not much say in scoring. Dela Cruz was that kind of person but what he can’t get in terms of offensive touches, he takes exception in bringing scoring droughts and inflicting shoving matches with imports and top scorers. Remember the Art dela Cruz versus Poch Juinio scuffle? That was one of his classics.
